Small Business Development Center - Charleston Office
Doing Big Things for Small Business
The Charleston Area SBDC provides one–on–one consultation to prospective and existing business owners. Assisting them to analyze business opportunities, develop business plans and strategies, and create loan packages, PTAC, manufacturing and industrial. These services are offered at no charge to the consumer and are available by appointment only. All services rendered by the Small Business Development Center are completely confidential. The key areas of assistance include:
- Business plan review,
- Financial analysis,
- Marketing and advertising,
- Business loan packaging assistance,
- Accounting and financial management,
- Government procurement,
- Woman, veteran, family and minority owned business,
- Technological advancement of small business
- International trade
- Seminars and training courses at minimum or no registration fee
Partnership with SBA
The South Carolina SBDC is partially funded under a Cooperative Agreement 8-603001-Z-0043-28 by the U.S. Small Business Administration. "The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) operates in partnership with the US Small Business Administration.
